Easy-Peasy Banana-Oatmeal Cookies

With filling, sweet ingredients that you’d find in a healthy breakfast and no added sugar, they are a simple, satisfying, and nutritious treat.

Ingredients
- 2 bananas
- 1 cup of oats
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375° F.
- In a bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
- Mix in the vanilla, salt, and oats.
- Scoop dough onto a greased pan.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
- Allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes.
- Enjoy these healthy cookies!
Variations
Replace 1 of the bananas with 1/3 cup of the nut or seed butter of your choice (my favorites are peanut butter or tahini).
Turn it into a more traditional dessert with unsweetened chocolate chips.
Make it a flavor explosion by adding nuts, dried fruit, and spices. My favorite spice combination is turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, and black pepper!
